5 Nail Colours You Need for SS13

The sun is out and it seems set to stay that way! So now that we can actually start wearing wear the colours of the season, let’s remind ourselves of the top colours for SS13.

1. NUDEButter London Nude Nails

It may be a shock to the system for nail art lovers, but when it comes to this look – the plainer, the better! Nude and mannequin nails have been seen all over the runway and in the press.  It is said to elongate the nail, and add a sophisticated touch.  Butter London have even designed a nude range which matches every skin tone.

American Apparel Neon Yellow

On the other side of the spectrum we have neon nails.  Loud, bold, attention-grabbing colour.  A trick for perfecting this look is to apply a white base so that the colour really pops and gets nails noticed!

Barry M Mint Green

Spring, Summer and pastels go hand-in-hand.  But if you want to know which pastel shade stands out from them all, mint is the one that should be in your collection

4. WHITEMavala White

Ready for a cliché? White is the new black.  Cliches may be corny but this new look definitely isn’t! Taking an extension from fashion where white dominated the shows, white nails are an instant way to get to the top of the trend list.

Metallic Silver Nails

High shine all the way! You can use nail varnish to achieve this look, but nail wraps have the edge when it comes to super reflection.

So are there any that you want to add to your collection?  I know there a couple I need to get my hands on.  Keep an eye out for the next series of posts which will be based on some of these looks so you know just how to wear them
