Hey everyone, I hope you’re having a great Friday!
Today I decided to get out my Barry Ms. I felt like I hadn’t used them in ages so it was time I gave them a bit of attention. I used Lychee and White which seem to compliment each other nicely. I’ve used this colour combo before to create these nails so today’s nails qualify for The Same but Different category.
I applied one coat of Lychee to each nail and tried to avoid bald spots by going over any light areas. Then I created the polka dot on my little finger using a dotting tool (I only recently got these and they’re super useful for nail art). I was considering doing the polka dot design on all of my nails but I thought it might look a little OTT, so instead I came up with some other little looks for the remaining nails.
I have to say that the Tap Water Trick for drying nails is a real life saver! Seriously. Normally, a design like this would take me ages to do, especially because Lychee and White are on the thick side and take a while to dry. I love painting my nails but there are times when it can feel laborious (e.g. if I’ve made a mistake and want to do a nail over) and it takes all the fun out of it. Having my nails dry quickly allows me to get on with the creative part.
The overall look is quite fun and for some reason reminds me of the Pantone colour charts lol (e.g. the ring finger). What do you think?

The lychee shade is such a perfect nude nail colour!
It really is! It can be a little challenging to work with as the formula is slightly thick but I think the colour is worth it!
