Christian Louboutin Nail Polish

Since the infamous nail painting technique of painting the underside of your nails with a different colour (dubbed as ‘Louboutin nails’, especially when using red and black) now you’ll be able to create Louboutin nails using Louboutin nail polish. Christian louboutin nail polish bottle image

The new line of Christian Louboutin nail polish will include 30 different shades, including of course the iconic Rogue, which is an exact match for the red bottomed soles of Louboutins….which funnily enough was inspired by a nail varnish to begin with.  Mr. Louboutin makes no secret that the red soles idea was created after seeing a make up artist painting her nails in this specific shade, he grabbed it and painted the bottom of a pair of heels.  It’d be interesting to know what the original bottle of nail polish was…

The brand returned to it’s starting point of inspiration by launching its own range of nail polish, which has been categorised into tones of Nude, Noir and Pop.

The bottle itself is a work of art, with clear reference to the signature Christian Louboutin heel.  It features a 8inch spiked brush with a crystallised glass bottle.   As well as the sky high designed brush, the price tag is equally as eye raising at £37 ($50).

The main attraction, Rouge, is available now whilst the other shades will be available from August 31st.

Are you a fan of designer nail polish? Will your collection ever see a Christian Louboutin nail polish added to it?

  1. I saw their beautiful counter in Selfridges when they launched – they even had a golden carpet 🙂 Pretty to the last detail! 🙂

The bottle is amazing, and actually, I tried it and the handle IS comfortable.

    Shame I don’t like red nails 😉
